Bad Effects Of Technology

Technology is very useful in all aspects. It helps our lives in all ways. Every mankind use it for better life. Of course every new invention there is bad effects and technology can bring a lot of disadvantages in our lives. some of it are:

• People are becoming more lazy; choosing to stay at home and play video games than go to a basketball game or get together with friends.
• students are relying on the web to do the work for them
• Studies have also shown net-based readers (people who do the majority of their reading on-line) are less able to determine what is and is not a valid source and are less skilled in critical reading and thinking.

• practice of a pirate; robbery or illegal violence at sea.

Anti-piracy in our country is badly poor. But our government is striving their best to accumulate the rampant stealing in our country. Our leaders made the best that they can to filed a law to stop piracy and this is some of it.

• Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines

Some notable points about the new law are:
· It expressly protects databases and tables.
· It grants an exclusive rental right to the copyright owner.
· It recognizes and expands the protection of an author’s “moral rights”.
That is, the right of an author to preserve the integrity of their works and
their name.
· It penalizes the possession of infringing software for the purposes of sale.
